Participating and registering in the Blue Think Conference effectively express the consent to the collection and processing by CIIMAR and CCMAR of the participant personal data (identification, contact, and academic data). These data will be used for registration, course database, and certification purposes. It also express consent to the collection and processing by CIIMAR and CCMAR of image and sound data that will be collected to live-stream the selected and invited presentations, as well as to being given access to the live-streaming platform and Slack channel; photographs can be displayed on the CIIMAR and CCMAR website and used for public dissemination purposes (conventional and social media). Providing such data is mandatory for event participation. CIIMAR and CCMAR, as data controllers will handle participant personal data with confidentiality and exclusively for the purposes stated above. Under the applicable European and national data protection legislation, every participant have the right, as a data subject, to request from the data controller the access/portability, rectification, erasure, opposition, or restriction of processing of the participant personal data, as well as the right to remove their consent to the processing of their personal data. CIIMAR and CCMAR will keep participant personal data during the necessary time to fulfill the purpose to which the data was required, in a maximum time of six months following the conclusion of the conference.
